The Senators announced Thursday that Gilbert (upper body) will miss approximately three weeks, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports.

Has a solid, 6-2 frame and is strong on his skates. Usually plays a safe, solid game from the back end. Lacks an offensive dimension to his game. Could stand to be a more physical presence along the blueline.
